Personal trainer in Teneriffe

Teneriffe is defined by its old woolstores: big brick warehouses along Vernon Terrace and Macquarie Street that now hold loft apartments, cafes and offices. It is compact, walkable and right on the river, and a lot of people here work long hours in the city or nearby Newstead.

Where we train

Training spots in and around Teneriffe

Woolstore apartments

High ceilings and wide open plan living make many loft apartments surprisingly good training spaces. A clear area of floor is all we need.

Building gyms

Most of the larger conversions and newer towers include a gym. I will work around peak times and bring extra equipment where useful.

The river path to Newstead

Flat, scenic and well lit early, the riverside walk is ideal for conditioning work and warm ups.

Newstead Park

A short walk north, with open grass and views over Breakfast Creek for outdoor sessions.

A typical week

How sessions fit a Teneriffe week

Teneriffe clients often train before work at 6am or straight after at around 6pm, keeping sessions to 45 or 60 minutes so dinner on Vernon Terrace is still on the table.

Practical details

Parking is tight around the woolstores, so I plan for visitor parks or nearby streets and arrive early. Loading equipment through older buildings is simple with a compact kit.

Private sessions in Teneriffe are $150 for 60 minutes, with weekly programmes from $1,080 per four weeks. Travel is included.

Questions from Teneriffe

Will training disturb my neighbours in a woolstore apartment?

No. I use mats and choose movements that keep noise low, avoiding dropped weights or jumping in apartments with timber floors.

Do you also cover Newstead?

Yes. Newstead and the Gasworks precinct are next door and within the standard service area.
